Wings of Joy

I placed my first order w/ Taylored Expressions on Sunday and it arrived on Wednesday. It sat in the building office for two days until I could sneak out of work early and race home to get it!! didn't really race home tonight as much as sit in traffic for almost 2 hours... but I did catch the office just before it closed!!
I came home and got right to work. I followed Sketch Challenge 249 for this card, along w/ items from the Very Merry Christmas Bundle. The Wings of Joy stamp set it so cute and I also got some Cosmo Cricket paper that I love!! And the buttons... oh, the buttons!!:)
Have a good weekend... lots of packing, moving and hopefully stamping here!!

Taylor's Challenge #84

This is a really simple care using SUPER FUN American Crafts paper... love it!! And also using Taylor's Sketch Challenge 84. I made a few cards last night so I can have some to post during the week.

Work has been so busy plus I am supervising an MSW student for the year... very fun but for now extra work!! The commute to and from work has also been even worse than usual and I am trying to pack before I move in Nov.... takes away my motivation to stamp after dinner and some form of exercise!! However, we all know what Saturday is... World CardMaking Day!! Will definitely make crafty time a priority on that day!!

A Halloween Hi

After making a winter card I thought I should get a move on Halloween cards!! This is also a stamp from SU "The More the Merrier". I used SU cardstock in Always Artichoke and Elegant Eggplant. I also used a scrap of DP that I had picked up at ACMoore... not sure where it's from. A couple of these guys are popped up and w/ the button it's not mail friendly! It's hard to see but I also used the Dots Cuttlebug folder on the Elegant Eggplant.

Jinxing Myself

As much I love this card, I'm nervous to post it... the fall weather here has been so beautiful... but it doesn't last long! Pretty soon we'll be seeing alot of these guys!! I've been dying to use this stamp from Stampin' Up. I paired it w/ some Minds Eye paper and this week'd SCS sketch. This picture came out the best though the angle is a little too crooked!!

The Sunday Blues

Ugh, it's almost 7pm and the Sunday blues start to set in! So, chasing them away by stamping before the gym! This is a thank you card but I made it w/o a particular purpose. I have had this paper from K&Co (I think) forever! I bought a pack when I first started stamping... the stamp is Studio G from Michael's dollar bin.

I have loved my 3 day weekend... could really get used to it:) Off to the gym!

Feels Like Monday...

So excited for a 4 day work week... and the reminder that today is NOT Monday!! To prove it, here is Mercy's Tuesday Setch for the week.

I love these little guys from Hero Arts. The inside says "Here's a Hug". I used the In Colors from 2007 (I think) and sadly realized that I am running out of these colors!! The picture isn't that great.. taken at night, which also, sadly, is coming earlier and earlier these days!!!

Kick Off Your Shoes!

I made this card a while ago... I may have followed a sketch challenge or CASE'd someone's work, I really don't remember!! I should start making note of that when I make a card.

I made this using another quote from Verve's Beautiful You set. It says "Every day brings a chance for you to draw in a breath, kick off your shoes and dance" by Oprah.

I did just that this past weekend when I went out to San Francisco. I saw my friend, Jill, from growing up and also had a reunion w/ my fellowFJV housemates. It was so fun!! Aaaahhhh, love northern CA!!! I flew home through Phoenix and was in the airport for a couple hours... I was SO tempted to change my flight and stay over night in Phx! But I would have to have bought a whole new plane ticket:( I did get a chance though to step outside of the airport into that 115 degree heat... not sure if I miss that but I do miss the mountains, the desert, the cactus, the sunsets, the palm trees.... I love the west, it calls to me;)

Crazy for Christmas

This is my 2nd card using the SFYTT from yesterday.... I am loving this sketch!! And I am ahead of the game for Christmas... well, 1 card ahead of the game!!

I ran the Kraft paper through the Swiss Dots folder, did some distressing and some Copic coloring... and there you go!! I used a glitter pen on the ornaments so they are fairly sparkly though you can't tell in the picture.

Yesterday was the best day... I stayed at home all day and stamped as well as cleaned nad organized my craft area. I didn't get around to organizing the patterned paper... another day!! Then went to the gym and Marty and I went to Chili's for dinner. Today was work all day and more of the same tomorrow:(

Beautiful You

Based on the colors I chose for this card, I would say I am ready for Fall!! Though they are also my favorite colors! I used today's SFYTT... I flipped it and made a horizontal card. I snapped a picture outside just in time before a HUGE downpour... the work of Hurricane Bill!! A perfect day to hang out at home and stamp! I plan to make some cards using this sketch but ... I'm looking around my stamping area...at first I had spread from my desk to the table...then the floor and now the chair... time to clean!!

Hello Friend

I have wanted to wait to cut into this Cosmo Cricket DP until I used up some other paper... but I just couldn't wait any longer!! I love this paper from the Early Bird collection!!!

Speaking of self control, my formerly snug pants... no more!! Woot woot!!! Health, shmealth... I want to buy new clothes!! I also made a deal w/ myself.... as I have been drooling over Papertrey Ink stamps for a while... when I lose 10% of my body weight I will place a PTI order. That's motivation... for me anyway!!!

Gotta run... this internet connection is slow... I can't deal anymore!

Today's Card

Here is a very simple card that I made for my friend, Katie, who recently got engaged. I used the SU set Fairytale Weddings, which I'm pretty sure is retired. I also used Sage Shadow cardstock, which I have never used before... and some Heidi Grace rub ons I have had for a while. I LOVE using up old items... just so I can justify buying new!!

I took this picture outside in natural light... a HUGE difference!!

Happy Birthday, Kyle!

I can't believe that Kyle, my oldest nephew, is 10!!! It seems like just yesterday that my mother called me and told me he had been born!! At the time, I was driving home from Arizona and I was in South Dakota when I got the call... I couldn't wait to get home and meet him. Kyle quickly became one of my favorite little people.. he is very smart and sweet, also very stubborn and bossy! I just love him!

This card matches the notebook that I made. Love these K&Co. stickers. This card was so easy... less than 5minutes to make!!

Put Down the Crystal Effects

How cute are these bees??? I love them... I borrowed the stamp from Pam. They were very fun to color w/ Copics. I tried Crystal Effects on the umbrellas and raindrops... but every time I use Crystal Effects, it ends in disaster! A huge glob came out on top... I tried to salvage it... it's not that noticeable!:) Also, this card is made from scraps, based on Mercy's TSC33

Tuesday Sketch

I had this piece of embossed Wild Wasabi lying around and thought it would be great for this week's Tuesday sketch by Mercy. Since I had already embossed, this care came together very quickly. I used Verve's Beautiful You set as well as last year's in colors. I made a bunch of cards tonight... plenty to post throughout the week, I hope!

This is a horrible picture taken w/ my phone... that takes really bad pictures!! My camera takes 3 pictures and then the batteries die... so please forgive the bad picture!!

My oldest nephew, Kyle, has a big birthday coming up... breaking into double digits!! Kyle has a spiral bound notebook of drawings and "other ideas" so I thought I would make him a special notebook. Drawing inspiration from these notebooks (BTW, LOVE Kerry's blog!! She has the cutest stuff!!) I used Cosmo Cricket paper and K&Company chipboard stickers, this took me no time to make. I covered the back w/ Cosmo Cricket paper, the coordinating robot piece. I had to buy this paper at AC Moore as I really don't have appropriate stuff for little boys. AND I have 5 nephews!! These chipboard stickers are super cute and make decorating very easy! A wave of exhausted just hit me and feel I'm rambling so must say good night!!

Love and Laugh at Mistakes

I started out with a great sketch... but it went downhill from there! This is Mercy's Tuesday Sketch from a couple weeks ago.
I love this color combination and I love the SU Cutie Pie paper. First, though, I had trouble cutting and cut the piece behind the sentiment at least three times and the other smaller panel had to be redone once. I have never mastered tying bows and I was SO frustrated trying to get this one right... finally I gave up and used this cheater knot!! So, then the card was done and assembled and I realized that the largest panel is SU Blua Bayou and the smaller are Baja Breeze. I thought about taking it apart but instead I think I will keep it in the "send to a good friend" pile;) I blame this on the fact that I wore myself out on the elliptical machine tonight!!!

Make A Wish, Cupcake!

I followed SC240 for this card... sort of! But I wanted to keep it pretty simple! I want to add some buttons along the bottom... but I want to start sewing buttons onto card. I have been reading the blogs of the Papertrey Ink design team... Heather Nichols posted a tutorial on sewing buttons to cards using twine or linen thread. I LOVE it!! I ordered some linen thread and can't wait for it arrive!! I also ordered the SU scallop edger... can't wait!!!
I took two of my nephews mini golfing today... it was fun but the hottest day of the year and no shade!!

Simple and Sweet

This card was so easy!!! I took my ideas from this cute card on Clean and Simple Stamping. I almost pretty much copied except I wanted to use my new Marvy heart punch. I picked it up when my mom and I made a trip to the Scrapbook Cupboard. The punch was discounted and I think I paid about $6 for it... craziness!!! I also used another semtinment from SU's The More the Merrier... it says sweetest ever. The most time consuming part of the card was punching the black strip w/ my corner rounder punch to make the scallops!!

Quick Thanks

This stamp is from a new SU hostess set called "The More the Merrier." I LOVE this set!!! I can't wait to put it to more use!! I think this paper is Scenic Route that I picked up. Not much to say tonight... Marty and I just got back from spending the day in western MA w/ his parents. We had a really nice dinner and then they kicked us out at 7... so we could get on the road and not drive after dark:)

I don't think this card is one that I CASE'd however I'm not sure... I'm paranoid about not giving credit:)

Stamping Makes Me Hoo-ppy!!

This card kills me!! Another friend at work has a birthday tomorrow... one day she was looking at my card stash and remarked that she loved the owl cards! So, I used this guy from Cornish Heritage Farms along with FTL51 from Clean & Simple Stamping. I knew I was going to use thickers, inspired by Natasha's sample card... and then inspiration struck and I had to say "Hoo-ppy Birthday." Certainly not original but it definitely struck my funny bone... esp w/ this guy's little party hat that I added from SU's Pun Fun set. I tried to stamp the sentiment w/ Making Memories magnetic alphabet set that was given to me... but could I figure out how to arrange the stamps... spelling backwards while making sure the letters were going the right way and right side up. It was too much for me... my p's were d's, b's... every way they were not supposed to be!! At work our unit secretary laughs at me as I need her help every time I need to print on letter head!!! So, I took the easy way out and handwrote the letters!!

Thanks for looking!

More Birthdays!!

This is a quick card I made tonight for a friend at work. It happens all the time that I start a card w/ one idea in mind and end up w/ something totally different!! I started embossing the entire card front w/ a Cuttlebug folder but that just wasn't working w/ the rest of the card. So, hopefully I'll find another use for that!

I love this stamp from Verve's Beautiful You set... I watercolored using a blender pen and Wild Wasabi and Purely Pomegranete ink. I don't use this coloring method enough... I love the results!! Other than that, it's pretty simple!

I have to drag myself to see one more client... then it's a walk w/ Marty...assuming the rain holds off... then dinner w/ hopefully some more stamping afterwards!!

Lots of Birthdays!!

I made this card for my friend Sarah's birthday... I love these colors together and am desperately trying to use all the scraps I have before cutting into new pieces of DP. And I have ALOT of it!!!

My roommate Crystal has a birthday coming and she LOVES ice cream!! So I knew I wanted to use this Denami stamp for her birthday card! I recently found a new blog...Clean and Simple Stamping. All different simple sketches... so I kind of followed FTL 52 for this card. I used Copics to color the ice cream cone and added a little Colorbok flower.
That's it today... a couple of simple cards!! Dinner last night was SO good!!! We made pasta primavera w/ zucchini, peppers, onion and tomato. Saute w/ some olive oil and pour over pasta. Only 5 points per serving!! We added a little bit of chicken but substituted that for the provolone cheese so I think it evened out! I have leftovers to bring to work tonight. Speaking of work, I should probably go get ready!!

Inkin'....

I have a couple cards today. The first is one that my friend Dave asked me to make for his wife for their 10th anniversary. I took the picture at work w/ my phone it is not the best picture! I was really inspired, for this card and pretty much every card:), by Kristina Werner. It is a 4 1/2 square card. I cut a piece of this Kaiser DP and slipped a scrap of black behind it. I borrowed my friend Pam's Just Rite Stamper Curls set for the #10. I couldn't figure out how to work in Happy Anniversary on the front as I don't have a stamp for that. My friend Dave can be brutally honest, something I appreciate, and for some reason am never offended when he is!! But he said he really liked it!!
Details-Paper-SU Pink Pirouette, Black, Whisper White and Kaiser DP; Ink-Memento Tuxedo Black; Stamps-Just Rite Curls Monogram set; Accessories-SU Black grosgrain, Punch (Fiskars I think), Corner Rounder punch

I love this Amuse sentiment that I also borrowed from Pam... Inkin' of You. I didn't really have anything in mind when I made this... just had the supplies in front of me!!
Details-Paper-SU Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, American Crafts DP; Stamps-Amuse and SU Polka Dot punches; Ink-Memento Cocoa
I have to run.... Marty will be here soon. We're going to go the grocery store to get stuff for dinner then a walk. I found a WW recipe for pasta primavera, looks pretty good!! I am planning on making a concerted effort... for the 1,455,445 time... to monitor my intake. It's very frustrating b/c I don't think what I eat is unhealthy... it's not what I eat but how much. I pulled out the measuring spoons today and meausred an actual TBSP of peanut butter to put on my rice cake and it was decidedly different from the amount I usually put on! Portion sizes and desserts are my downfall!! Off for more water... I'm starving!!;)

Back in Business!

I got my computer back from HP and it is working well!! I did some stamping last night that I hope to post soon! I had big plans to get some more stamping done tonight as well as blog posts.. until I got a reminder from my boss that we are scheduled to go on a tour of a local nursing home tonight then out to dinner. I am interested to see the facility as it is one we refer to a bit, and you should never refuse a free meal... but I hate marketing ploys! And giving up my free time!! Anyway, I will post soon enough!!

I took my oldest nephew to see Harry Potter the other night. We had fun... at dinner he was telling me that as he is now almost 10, he has alot more opportunities in life. He also gave me his thoughts on the economy... he's so cute and smart, I can't even stand it!! Anyway, the movie was good! I fell asleep during the 5th Harry Potter so I was pleasantly suprised by this one. Although, it seems the movie definitely focused more on teen relationships rather than action.

Should probably get to work... :)

TECC #71

Yay to nice roomates who let me use their computer!! This card follows Taylor's last cupcake challenge. I've done a few of Taylor's challenges and I've yet to use cupcakes!!

This card was pretty simple. I stamped the Certainly Celery layer w/ the SU Stitched background stamp. I randomly added glitter to the image which didn't turn out exactly as I pictures, as often hapens w/ me and glitter! But the rest of the card turned out as planned!!

Spanner in the Works

This is a sad day... the wireless function on my laptop is not working. That means no internet at home... and no cable TV which means it is officially 1980 at my place!!

I called HP on Saturday night, hoping it would be something we could fix on the phone... but it wasn't. I have to send the computer in to HP to fix. The good thing is that it won't cost anything as "this is a known problem to these machines." I wish it was known to me before I bought it. It worked yesterday which was exciting but then last night, same deal!

So, I can post at work but no pictures. It's funny b/c I started to stamp last night but I didn't have it in me partly b/c I knew I couldn't post it anywhere... also the fact that it was 10:15p and I had worked all day plus worked out. That may have put a damper on things.

Will be back!!

Heirloom goodness!!

Yesterday my mom, friend Pam and I made the drive out to The Heirloom Productions Rubber Stamp and Paper Arts Exhibit in West Springfield. This is my 3rd year going and have noticed that the first year seemed to be much bigger. I'm not sure if there are less exhxibitors or if I was looking at the convention through the eyes of a first timer.

Anyway, here is what I got! This convention seems to focus on products that give the more artsy, vintage look. I'm not sure if that is the way to describe it nad there is a lot of talent in the room, it's just not me. So, I get out of there w/out spending too much money!! I picked up some new Spellbinders at Marco's Paper, cute stamps from Denami Design, embossing powder and glitter from Sparkle 'N Sprinkle, more cute stamps from Outlines Rubber Stamps and copics from... I can't remember but they were a great price!!!
I can't wait to play around w/ my new stuff!! First work today then gym when I get home!

Big Puddle of Mush

I had intentions to stamp tonight but that was before I met a little thing called... Boot Camp. Tuesday night my friend Bonnie and I went to a Body Combat class that, compared to this class, seemed like a stroll through a field filled w/ cupcakes. At one point I thought you want me to do what? So, I don't how many jumping jacks, push ups, lunges, squats, laps run.... I am spent!!

Off to bed early and I'm looking forward to a Friday off. Saturday heading to Springfield for the Heirloom Rubber Stamp Convention.

More Owls

I wonder how many different owls I can some up with? Hee hee... I think this is it!! So, speaking of nocturnal animals... I woke up last night at 1:30am and NEVER went back to sleep. I don't know why but I do know that if I don't sleep tonight, I'll cry.

And I know that I love these colors together... pink pirouette and tangerine tango. The card base is Amuse. Very simple card!!

Mojo Monday #89

Look what was waiting for me when I get home today... my new sets from Verve!! So, I checked my e-mail this morning and found the tracking information for these bad boys. Imagine my surprise when I saw they arrived this morning... in MA... from Idaho... where they were ordered on Friday afternoon!!!! Talk about great customer service!! Well, in addition to the customer service, the stamps are so cute!! They are pretty deeply etched and give a really nice impression! So, I used the new Up, Up and Away set for this week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge.

This card was heavily influenced by this card from Jen Del Muro. I read Jen's blog every day and love her work!! I can't believe that tonight... besides dragging myself to the gym... I used Pacific Point!! Generally I'm not a fan of the bold bright family and I feel like Pacific Point is similiar. But I thought it would work well here. The sketch seems to call for a differentiation between the top and bottom... instead of using patterned paper, I stamped the little curlicue in versamark and stamped along the bottom. I like the way this card turned out!

Bloodshot Owl!

I only have 1 hour to shower, get ready and GET to work BUT.... today is the last day for the SOA challenges, Julee Tilman had a great sketch that I hadn't tried yet AND my stamp area was all clean for once and begging to be used!!

So, I had to make this card!! I've been on a total owl kick lately!! I colored this guy from Cornish Heritage Farms in w/ Copics. I was rushing when I realized I had colored in the whites of his eyes!! So, I erased w/ my colorless blender pen which worked fairly well but now he looks a little bloodshot! I thought, in that case, I will add a sentiment about needing caffeine or something!!
A pretty quick and simple card but a great layout that I want to use again when I have more time!!! Speaking of Julee's sketches, I bit the bullet and put in a Verve order!!! So excited!!!

Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge

It's Friday and that means it's time for Taylor's Cupcake Friday Sketch. I loved Taylor's card and the Penny Black image she used... so cute!!!! This is a fantastic sketch and as soon as I saw it I had plans to use this Rubber Outlines Stamp! I love this stamp but b/c it is so big it is rare that I have the opportunity to use it. I substituted this flower button for the circle panel and tied the button onto the SU grosgrain w/ some twine. It is a pretty sparkly card in real life!!

Off to bed... work tomorrow then going out at night w/ Marty and my friend Leah and her husband. Sunday my mom is taking my nephews to the movies and I may tag along before work... any excuse to spend time w/ the little guys!!!

Verve Sketch Challenge

This is a great sketch from Julee Tilman over on the SOA site. Julee is also the owner of Verve stamps. I don't have any of her stamps but have definitely been eyeing them for quite some time!! She has very fun sentiments w/ fun fonts... maybe a little shopping is in order?;)

Any-HOO, I used this clear owl stamp from Maya Road for this card. I LOVE owls and am really glad that there are so many owl products out there! The sentiment is from Amuse.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!! It looks like it will be cold and rainy here in MA... I have to say I don't mind though since I am working all weekend!! Next Saturday is the Heirloom Stamp Convention out in Springfield... woot woot!! Last year I got a deal on Nestabilities so I'm excited to see what they have this year! I am also on the look out for different color embossing powders. I am going to try to restrain myself on alterable items as I have so many that I have not even touched!!

SCS Featured Stamper

Did I mention how excited I was that Mercy Kerin was this week's Featured Stamper on SCS??? Well, I was!! The rules of this challenge are to pick a card from the featured stamper's gallery and create your own but change 2 or more elements.

I chose this card of Mercy's. I changed the colors, the DP and instead of creating a flower, I used a Heidi Swapp ghost flower w/ button center. I kept the layout, piercing and used the same SU stamp.

I just finished a card for a challenge on the SOA site and I hoped to post it today. But my camera batteries are dead, of course!! I feel that my camera has some special power to suck the life out of batteries... they are always dead!! Anyway, they are are recharging now so that post will have to wait.

Alright, off to work... thanks for looking!!

Stampin' Out Alzheimers

Taylor VanBruggen issued a sketch challenge on the Stampin' Out Alzheimers site. This is my card using this sketch... I love how this card turned out! The polka dot paper is Amuse and the cardstock is SU Cameo Coral... I really love how this paper goes together, very fun!!
So, back to the SOA site... Jen Tapler who is a very talented stamper and blogger started this site to raise money for Alzheimers. The site is dedicated to her father who is diagnosed w/ the illness. The site is up all week and all you have to do is contribute $5 to participate in all the fun challenges, giveaways and discussions. All this while raising money for a great cause!!
There is alot of discussion on the site of living w/ someone dx'd w/ Alzheimers. Fortunately, right now in my life there is noone among my family or friends w/ this diagnosis. However, I work as a social worker on a geriatric psychiatric unit. All of our patients have some type of Dementia, some of the Alzheimers type. Lately we have had a number of fairly young patients w/ this diagnosis. The patients come to our unit for treatment of the agitation and aggression that, at times, comes along w/ the disease. It is heartbreaking to see a person waste away and even more heartbreaking to talk to families about comfort measures and end of life issues.
So, with all that said, go check out the site... or go directly to the Alzheimers Association to learn more or donate to help find a cure.

Double Challenge

I combined Kristina Werner's color challenge #53 w/ Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #19... AND I REALLY wanted to use this DP. Well, the pressure gave me fits!! I LOVED the card that Karen made but I don't think I did this sketch justice:(

Though it is actually a simple card. I flipped the sketch, adhered some DP, ribbon and buttons a sliver of Baja Breeze card stock. Also, Kristina's challenge called for Pacific Blue... this is kind of close! I actually really don't like Pacific Point so really didn't want to use it!!

I am waiting for approval to join the Stamp Out Alzheimers challenges. Off to stamp some more!!

Happy Memorial Day!

I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday!! I am at work right now... but I get off at 3 and my plan is to stamp, stamp, stamp tonight!! Exciting life, huh!

There are a couple challenges out there that I am excited to tackle... Kristina Werner's color challenge is up and I have the perfect DP to go along w/ the great colors... the real challenge will be finding it amongst all my stuff!! Also, this week SCS Featured Stamper is Mercy Kerin... I discovered Mercy's blog a few weeks ago and it has quickly become one of my faves so I can't wait to CASE her work!! Also, I read about a challenge to benefit the Alzheimers Association... this is a cause close to my heart as I work in a gero-psych unit and see patients every day affected by this disease.

That's it for now... hoping to get to Wakefield Lake after work and then onto my stamping desk!!

Happy Birthday, Mom!

I made this card for my Mom's birthday. It is very simple... and it turns out that it also fits this week Limited Supplies Challenge over at SCS. The challenge was to use a circle and only one stamp set on the card. I made these circles w/ my trusty Marvy punches and the stamp set is Le Jardin from Lizzie Anne Designs. I put a Creative Imaginations gem in the flower center that I think adds a fun touch!!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day weekend!! Marty and I went to Wakefield Lake today and walked/jogged. It was the first time my legs have seen a pace faster than a trot in a while but it felt really good!! We had a barbecue for my mom at my sister's... it was good to see everyone and all the kiddoes!! Tomorrow is a work get together and hopefully stamping at night! Tonight Marty rented the movie "Australia" w/ Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman... didn't get great reviews but Hugh Jackman is in it so it has to be somewhat good:)

Hi

This is another card that I recently sold... I am very proud of myself for using my American Crafts paper!! This was a super simple card that didn't even have any stamping on it!!
I used a corner rounder to make a scalloped piece of Old Olive, adhered it w/ some AC paper on top and ribbon then placed the embelishment... could not have been easier!!

Thank You for BEE-ing a Friend

I saw this sketch challenge (SCS226) on Splitcoast and knew I wanted to use my Stampendous bees! I look for any excuse to use these guys though... I love 'em! And I love this American Crafts paper that I have been hoarding forever!!
No new stamping here though!!! I've been working 8 days straight and have been busy most nights after work. I haven't had a chance... this does not make me happy!! Work will not slow down any time soon so I have to figure out a balance!!
What does make me happy is the dinner that Marty just made... shrimp w/ Old Bay seasoning, rice pilaf and asparagus!! Also, I have Tuesday off and I am getting my hair cut on Monday... I am DESPERATE for a haircut!!! I'm not sure what I will do for the haircut but it is definitely time for a highlight to cover the grays that have recently popped up. Luckily, only a few but still....!!
Heading to the annual Heirloom Stamping Convention in a couple weeks... can't wait for that!!!
